Chris Nevile received his Bachelor of Music in Secondary Education from the University of Calgary in 2005.  He was awarded First Class Honors for the practical requirement of his grade 10 exam through the Royal Conservatory of Music.  He has been an avid keyboardist and vocalist amongst the Calgary music scene, playing with the bands Urban Divide, Trackzilla, the Brett Spalding Group and The Von Zippers.  He has lead and accompanied numerous Calgary choirs and held the associate organist position at Highwood Lutheran Church from 2005-2007.  He has extensive knowledge of keyboard technology and its history, and is known to give tours of the world-renowned keyboard collection found at the Cantos Music Foundation, Calgary.  In the fall of 2009, he started teaching keyboard technique privately and is continually searching for new ways to bring the wonders of music and music making to his students.
